Description

Northern Red Oak is a fairly widespread oak covering the eastern half of the country. It is a fast growing, long lived and a large tree. It can grow to nearly 200 feet and 3+ feet in diameter. I have planted maybe 7 red oak over the years and they all are over a foot in diameter now. For some good info on red oak look here. We have many other oaks too.
