Description

Hazel Alder is a native shrub growing along the eastern 1/3 of the US in predominately wet areas although it will grow on dry hilltops. This Alder much like all the other alders play an important roll in the ecosystem as they support an amazing amount of wildlife mainly in the smaller insects.
