Description
Shumard oak is one of the fastest growing and largest in the red oak family. Native from East Texas to Mid Indiana east to the Carolina’s. A good source for info is the Lady Bird Johnson wild flower center. The record Shumard oak is over 200 foot and a trunk more than 3 feet in diameter. We grow about 20 varieties of Oak.
