Description
Shingle Oak is in the red oak family even though it doesn’t have loved leaves. The leaves actually look more like a live oak which by the way I have one ( a live oak) in my greenhouse about 3 inch caliper. The Morton Arboretum has some good info on the shingle Oak. We have many other varieties of oak.
