Northern pecan is a cold-hardy variety of pecan and are known for producing smaller, but very flavorful, nuts that ripen in colder climates. Pecan tree nuts have a thin shell and excellent flavor.

Description

Northern Pecan is a good choice for a nut tree in the northern states but be aware as with most nut trees a late frost can reduce the growth in a given year. Site planning is a must. Here are some of our other nut trees that we have.
