Description
Coral Red Dogwood (Cornus sericea) is a flowering dogwood. This beautiful small tree grows 15-20 feet tall and 20-25 feet wide with a layered branched look. Also known as red twig dogwood.
It has beautiful white flowers in the spring. In the fall the Cherokee Chief has beautiful red leaves and the winter, white fruit clings to the branches, making it attractive year-round. The winter fruit is great for attracting birds. This tree is resistant to pests, drought, and deer.
