Description
Late Flowering Lilac is native to China and prefers full sun. Extremely cold hardy and is generally pest free. It is called the Late Lilac as it blooms 2 to 4 weeks later than the common lilac and can tolerate drought, alkaline soils and salt. It’s probably not as desirable a landscape tree as a common lilac as the flowers are short lived and quite coarse.
