Price range: $2.80 through $4.25

Late Flowering Lilac has reddish lilacs to a purplish white that bloom in late May to early June. The Late Lilac attracts bees and butterflies.

Description

Late Flowering  Lilac is native to China and prefers full sun. Extremely cold hardy and is generally pest free. It is called the Late Lilac as it blooms 2 to 4 weeks later than the common lilac and  can tolerate drought, alkaline soils and salt. It’s probably not as desirable a landscape tree as a common lilac as the flowers are short lived and quite coarse.
